We are very excited to announce our debut release Shake All Night with The Outta Sites from Spinout Records! The 12″ vinyl album is to be released in mid- April and the CD to be released in late March, early April! The album, composed of 7 originals and 7 covers, is produced by Chris Sprague and Pete Curry. The analog recording was done on 2″ tape and recorded entirely with vintage equipment at the Pow Wow Fun Room in Marina Del Ray, California.

I had so much fun playing a gritty farfisa through vintage guitar amps, doing palm swipes on a swirly hammond organ with a leslie speaker and pounding on an old upright piano. This recording experience was unlike any I’ve experienced in the contemporary digital recording world of endless takes and cut and paste. Most of these recordings are one or two takes which can feel maddening for a perfectionist but they capture a great energy and sponteneity. I feel very fortunate to be apart of this group! Such great guys and wonderful musicians – a great recording experience. Please check out and like our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/theouttasites

Album Review

Friends, get ready to SHAKE ALL NIGHT with The Outta Sites! This combo hit the Dancehalls and Ballrooms just in time for the explosion of exciting new dance crazes like the Frug, the Watusi, the Monkey and of course the Outta Sites very own dance move, the "Sugarballs Stomp."

Fans have been eagerly waiting for this hot platter and it doesn't disappoint, with ravers like "Shake All Night". Just A Little Bit" and thier exciting take on "Jezebel"! You'll find yourself dancing to this beat even if you have two left feet--The Outta Sites are Out of Sight, man!
